Christmas is right around the corner and we are ready at the Borden House, let all the festivities began:) To start off the Christmas season we went to the North Pole to see Santa. Last year we departed for the North Pole from Clara AL, this year we decided to depart from Chattanooga TN. We left for our trip on Thursday, we met up with BB in AL and then we were on our way. We arrived in TN at around 4:00pm checked in to the hotel, took a quick picture with Santa and off we went to see the elf's, Holley Ann was not to sure about this. We decided that we would eat a quick dinner at the train depot before our train left for the North Pole. We had so much fun, after going through Elf Land we were finally arrived at the North Pole. After eating cookies and milk we got to meet Santa again, all Holley Ann said was that she wanted a Baby Doll, she is not to sure about Santa. After returning from the North Pole we headed back to the hotel where some Elf's were waiting to tuck us in, ounce again Holley Ann was not sure about this. We had a great trip, and even got some shopping in.

After dropping BB back off in AL we headed back home on Saturday afternoon. We had another big day ahead of us. As soon as our car pulled in the drive way Chad jumped in and we headed out to get our tree, which by the way we have not had a real tree since Chad and I got married but since our artificial tree was in storage in AL we thought that this would just be easier. After putting the tree up we got ready for the Christmas parade, which we only lasted for 30min, it was sooooo cold, it is so great to live downtown, the parade was only a street over. We ended our night with dinner at Golden Rule, our favorite place to eat. Sunday Holley Ann helped me put together my Magnolia garland, which I have never done this by myself, but it did turned out pretty cute:)

On Saturday Chad and I took Holley Ann to Tupelo to try to get some shopping done, now I know why I like to buy my gifts all online. The traffic was awful, the crowds of people were everywhere, and it was raining and cold, but it was a great to spend time with just the three of us. This week Holley Ann has her school party and Chad and I have a dinner to attend on Thursday night. Have a blessed week, and an early Merry Christmas!!!
