What a weekend

On Friday we hit the road. Our first stop was to pick up BB, Poppsy, Gran Gran & Papa Tony in Decatur, we headed to Birmingham for a wedding party for Aunt E & Uncle Drew, thankfully no rain and made it safely home by 10:30. Saturday was going to be a very busy day. I had to make chocolate strawberries and pretzel sicks for another party for Aunt E & Uncle Drew in Decatur later that night, my mom also had people over for lunch. The party went over great, expect for spilling red wine all over my shirt:) Sunday was BB's birthday so after a late breakfast and cake we were off, so we thought. First I could not found me keys, it started to rain, a bottle of wine fell out of the car and broke, and then to top off our day we got news that Corinth was flooding, and that most of the town was flooded. We did not believe it until we arrived, we had to try 4 different ways until we found one that would get us home, we live downtown and all of the major roads(Hwy 72) were flooded, thankfully our house was safe, but most of the town has major water damage, like Belk, Kmart, Kroger, ect. We are sooooooo happy to be home:)
